About us

Fertility2Family (ABN 54 063 506 152) is an Australian-owned online store based in Hobart, Tasmania. We have supplied home fertility and pregnancy tests across Australia since 2009. We sell online only and do not have a shopfront.

Who can order

You need to be 18 or over to place an order. If you are younger, a parent or guardian can order for you.

Our products and how to use them

Our tests are made for home use. They give a test result, not a diagnosis, and they cannot replace advice from your GP, pharmacist, midwife or fertility specialist. Always read the label and follow the directions for use supplied with each product.

Our ovulation and pregnancy tests are included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods under ARTG entry 317593. Inclusion in the register does not mean the TGA endorses a product.

Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You will see the full price, including delivery, before you pay.

If we show a price by mistake and the error is obvious, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to pay the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

Payment

You can pay by card, Google Pay or Apple Pay through PayPal, or choose PayPal, PayPal Pay in 4, Afterpay, Zip or Bank Transfer. If you choose Afterpay, Zip or PayPal Pay in 4, that provider’s own terms also apply to your payment. Orders paid by Bank Transfer are dispatched once the payment reaches our account.

Our Order Help page explains each payment option.

Discount codes and free delivery

Discount codes cannot be combined with each other unless the offer says you can. Some codes do not apply to every product, and items such as supplements and lubricants can be left out.

Free Registered Post on orders of $79 or more is worked out after any discount is taken off. If a code brings your total below $79, the normal delivery price applies.

Placing an order

We accept your order once your payment is confirmed, and we email you an order confirmation.

We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable or if we suspect fraud. If that happens, we will let you know straight away.

If you need to change or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to help before your order is packed or lodged with Australia Post. Once it has been packed or dispatched, a change or cancellation may no longer be possible.

Delivery

We deliver within Australia only, including to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. These are our delivery prices:

Registered Post$9.95, or free on orders of $79 or more after discounts
Express Post$12.95

Our Order Help page explains dispatch, tracking and delivery times, and what to do if a parcel is delayed. The products become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us. If your parcel is missing or arrives damaged, please contact us. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns and refunds

Change-of-mind refunds and returns are not available, for example when an order is placed by mistake or is no longer needed. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply whenever a product has a problem.

Please contact us before returning anything. There is no restocking fee for approved faulty, damaged or incorrect returns, and we cover reasonable standard return postage when a product is confirmed to have a problem.

Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how returns work, including return postage for faulty products, and our Order Help page shows what to send us if something is wrong.

Health information on our website

Our articles give general information, not personal medical advice. They are written by our Editorial Team, and articles that carry a medical review label have been reviewed by Evan Kurzyp, RN.

For advice about your own health, speak with your GP or another health professional. You can call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 at any time. In a medical emergency, call 000. Our Editorial and Medical Review Policy explains how we check our information.

Customer reviews

When we show customer reviews on our website, we publish genuine ones, whether they are positive or negative. We do not offer or promise a reward in exchange for a product review about a therapeutic good that we publish on our website.

When you write a review, you give us permission to show it on our website with the name you choose. You keep ownership of your words. Please keep your review honest and about what you bought, and free of other people’s personal details and anything abusive or against the law. We may decline or remove a review if it breaks these rules or if the law does not allow us to publish it. We never decline or remove a review just because it is critical.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for supplying products that meet the consumer guarantees. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss caused by using a product in a way its directions do not allow.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal and health information.

Our website content

The words, images, product instructions and tools on our website belong to Fertility2Family or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission. You are welcome to link to our pages.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, such as the TGA and Healthdirect. Other organisations run those websites and set their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those websites. Nothing in this section limits any responsibility we have under Australian law for links or content we choose to include.

Questions and complaints

If something is not right, please contact us first. We aim to reply within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, and we work to resolve problems quickly.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can contact Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS) in Tasmania, or the fair trading office in your state or territory.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

The laws of Tasmania and the Commonwealth of Australia apply to these terms. Any court or tribunal with power to hear a dispute may do so. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

General

If part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues where it can still operate. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later. If we sell Fertility2Family, we may transfer our rights under these terms as part of the sale, but we will not transfer your contract in a way that reduces your rights. We will ask for your consent before responsibility for an order you have already placed moves to a new owner.
