Ovulation Strip Tests
Fertility2Family Ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) are affordable, reliable, individually packaged and quality assured. This means you can test as often as you like without the financial stress. Knowing your body’s ovulation cycle will help increase your chances of falling pregnant.
We want you to feel confident using our OPKs, which is why we include our ovulation test instructions with every purchase.
Our cheap Ovulation Strip Tests work by allowing you to detect your monthly LH Surge – the sudden and dramatic increase in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) present in your urine just before you ovulate. LH is the hormone that facilitates ovulation (the release of the egg). When you detect your LH surge with an ovulation test, you know you are at your most fertile.
The only time for an egg to be fertilised is within 6 to 24 hours after you ovulate. This is why knowing when you are going to ovulate is extremely helpful in increasing your chances of becoming pregnant.

Fertility Kit FAQs
How do ovulation tests work?
Both the OPK and the Midstream ovulation test detect the amount of luteinizing hormone (LH) in your urine. When using an ovulation test throughout your cycle you will notice a light test line that gets darker closer to your ovulation.
What is a positive OPK?
A positive ovulation test is when the test lines are dark or darker than the control line. When you receive a positive ovulation test it is an indication you will ovulate in the next 12 to 36 hours.
Do ovulation tests expire?
Because ovulation predictor kits contain antibodies that are used to detect the luteinizing hormone in your urine these antibodies can degrade over time and make the test less accurate. Using a pregnancy test or OPK after the expiry date should not be relied upon. Fertility2Family strive to provide a minimum of 20 months expiry on all of our tests (however, is often more).
How accurate are early pregnancy tests?
Our home pregnancy test are highly sensitive and our TGA-approved tests provide over 99-per cent accuracy when the instructions are followed.
When can I start testing for pregnancy?
You can start testing as early as seven days past ovulation (7DPO) implantation occurs between 6DPO and 12DPO testing earlier than 7DPO is not recommended
I received a faint line on an HPT
It is very common to see a test line not as dark as the control line on both strip tests and midstream tests. A faint test band is indicative of a lower amount of hCG in the urine sample but a faint line that has colour dye in the test panel indicates a positive pregnancy test.
Evaporation line on a home pregnancy test
Evaporation lines also know as evap lines or indent lines are common on pregnancy tests. They do not appear every time but depending on the urine sample used and the chemical make up of the urine can increase the chances. The best way to reduce the chances of evap lines is to follow the pregnancy test instructions and to check the results of your urine pregnancy test within the reaction time.
How to take my Basal Body Temperature
1. Take your waking temperature daily after at least 5 hours of sleep, preferably at around the same time. 2. Take your basal body temperature every morning before getting out of bed. 3. Do not adjust or round off your BBT readings. 4. Track your temperature readings
Whether you are using pregnancy tests or ovulation tests, we can help make testing so much easier and cleaner with our cheap, disposable collection cups.
