Ovulation Strip Tests
Fertility2Family Ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) are affordable, reliable, individually packaged, and quality assured. This means you can test as often as you like without the financial stress. Knowing your body’s ovulation cycle will help increase your chances of pregnancy.
We want you to feel confident using our OPKs, so we include our ovulation test instructions with every purchase. We also cover all the important FAQs in our instructions, such as when to start testing for ovulation, When to have sex after getting a positive ovulation test, and how to interpret your ovulation test results.
Our cheap Ovulation Strip Tests work by allowing you to detect your monthly LH Surge – the sudden and dramatic increase in Luteinizing Hormone (LH) present in your urine just before you ovulate. LH is the hormone that facilitates ovulation (the release of the egg). When you detect your LH surge with an ovulation test, you know you are at your most fertile.
The only time to fertilise an egg is 6 to 24 hours after ovulation. This is why knowing when you will ovulate is extremely helpful in increasing your chances of becoming pregnant.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do ovulation tests work?
Both the OPK and the Midstream ovulation test detect the amount of luteinising hormone (LH) in your urine. When using an ovulation test throughout your cycle, you will notice a light test line that gets darker closer to your ovulation.
What is a positive OPK?
A positive ovulation test is when the test lines are dark or darker than the control line. When you receive a positive ovulation test, it indicates you will ovulate in the next 12 to 36 hours.
Do ovulation tests expire?
Because ovulation predictor kits contain antibodies that are used to detect the luteinising hormone in your urine, these antibodies can degrade over time and make the test less accurate. Using a pregnancy test or OPK after the expiry date should not be relied upon. Fertility2Family strive to provide a minimum of 20 months expiry on all of our tests (however, it is often more).
How accurate are early pregnancy tests?
Our home pregnancy tests are highly sensitive, and our TGA-approved tests provide over 99-per cent accuracy when the instructions are followed, Learn about the early signs of pregnancy and more FAQ.
When can I start testing for pregnancy?
You can start testing as early as seven days past ovulation (7DPO) implantation occurs between 6DPO and 12DPO testing earlier than 7DPO is not recommended.
I received a faint line on an HPT
It is very common to see a test line not as dark as the control line on both strip tests and midstream tests. A faint test band indicates a lower amount of hCG in the urine sample, but a faint line with colour dye in the test panel indicates a positive pregnancy test.
Evaporation line on a home pregnancy test
Evaporation lines, also known as evap lines or indent lines are common on pregnancy tests. They do not appear every time, but depending on the urine sample used and the chemical makeup of the urine can increase the chances. The best way to reduce the chances of evap lines is to follow the pregnancy test instructions and check the urine pregnancy test results within the reaction time.
How to take my Basal Body Temperature
1. Take your waking temperature daily after at least 5 hours of sleep, preferably around the same time. 2. Take your basal body temperature every morning before bed. 3. Do not adjust or round off your BBT readings. 4. Track your temperature readings.
