How BBT, LH and hCG fit into the same tracking routine
The three tools answer different questions, and natural cycles can vary from month to month. LH testing is one step before likely ovulation, while your BBT pattern can add another clue afterwards and hCG testing becomes relevant later.
Use LH strips before likely ovulation
Begin LH testing according to the test directions and your usual cycle length. An LH rise suggests likely ovulation may follow; it does not prove that egg release occurred.
Keep charting after the LH rise
