The sudden and dramatic increase in Luteinizing Hormone is an indication that you are about to ovulate. When you detect your LH surge with an ovulation test, you know you are at your most fertile and can time intercourse to increase your chances of falling pregnant.
With all of our Fertility Test Kits, we provide detailed instructions on when to use an OPK, How to test for your fertile window with an ovulation predictor kit and answer all the FAQ about using an ovulation test.
Positive ovulation test when should I have sex?
Fertility2Family ovulation predictor kits can detect small traces of Luteinizing Hormone in your system throughout your cycle. A positive OPK is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. If you have got a positive ovulation test, this is extremely helpful in increasing your chances of becoming pregnant.
Once you have an LH surge and a positive OPK, you are expected to ovulate in the next 12-48 hours. Having sex during this time will increase your chances as the only time for an egg to be fertilised is within 6 to 24 hours after you ovulate.
